Central Vic Vets today held individual time trial often referred to as the race of truth.

Tonight's Dale Lowe Signs Summer Series at Emu Creek really was a race of two halves. The front half did well but the back half did even better.

Day 2 of the Colwell Brother's Aggregate saw a reshuffling of the field following the big turn-out and hugely successful race yesterday, with close to 40 riders fronting up at Emu Creek this morning.

Evidently there are a lot of people keen to get their hands on Ray and David Colwell's cash. Forty riders turned up at Harcourt for the first day of the two-day Colwell Brother's aggregate event, racing over an out-an-back course in almost perfect conditions.

Warm night, hot racing. Despite the public holiday, some of the strongest fields we've seen for a long time turned up at Murphy Street this evening for the Dale Lowe Signs Summer Series crits.

More graded scratch races today, this time back at Woodstock for the 46 km Deer Farm Hill circuit. They're proving pretty popular, with another 30 plus field sorted into five grades.

Today was our first Saturday race without Hugh and as well as remembering him with a minute's silence before the graded scratch races, there were many anecdotes flying around before and after the event.
