Finally got a race in for this year's Dale Lowe Signs Summer Series after a couple of cancellations. Crits at Murphy Street attracted small fields but good racing. A grade field stuck together for most of the 40 minutes before Martin Banfield and Brent Gibson moved clear and maintained a big break on the rest until the finish where Marty outgunned Brent for the win with Sean white running third. In B Grade Phil Bone got away half way through and maintained the lead to the end, thanks to a gutsy solo ride and the lack of a coordinated chase from behind. Chris Landvogt broke clear on the last lap to run second and Chris Draper finished third. The C Graders rode a well-paced race which saw most of the field together until the final lap. Greg Chapman took off with at the bell and stayed clear of a determined Carl Louchard to win convincingly with Wendy Bennett running third.
